What Happens to My Base App Access and Event Bookings During a Membership Pause?
When you pause your membership with Base, there are several important implications regarding your app access and event bookings. Below, we outline the key details to help you understand what to expect during the pause period.
Overview of Membership Pause
Pausing your membership temporarily suspends your active status with Base. You are not charged for the duration of your pause. You will have limited access to the app's functionalities until your pause ends.
Impact on App Access
While your membership is paused:
You cannot book or attend Circles or Experiences through the Base app.
You will still be able to see our upcoming events.
You will not be able to access your friends list.
Full access to the app and its features will resume automatically when the pause ends or if you choose to reactivate your membership earlier.
Event Booking and Cancellation Policies
You cannot book new events while your membership is paused.
If you have pre-booked events scheduled during the pause period, you will not be able to pause until those events are canceled or concluded. Refund policies apply, and cancellations are eligible for a refund if the event is more than 72 hours away.
Reactivation Process
To regain full access to the Base app and its features, you can:
Wait for the pause period to end, at which point your membership will automatically reactivate.
Manually reactivate your membership earlier through the app if you wish to resume access sooner.
